謝俊彥 自國立美術學院畢業(為現今台北藝術大學)後，經歷義大利與英國南安普敦大學 温徹斯特藝術學院學習，之後因為機緣旅居西班牙至今27年。此期間他創作能量最為豐沛，作品風格多變、繽紛且自在。經常往來西班牙、台灣與北美洲舉辦個展。 2019一個春日午後，我與 謝俊彥 約好在他的畫室進行作品拍攝與簡短的採訪。也因為許久不見，心中特別期待 .. . 當我走進畫室，映入眼簾的是牆上一幅幅色彩繽紛的作品，以及空氣中瀰漫輕快優揚的樂曲，拍攝過程就像是游移在他的奇幻花園。 創作總是因著生活情感遊蕩著，畫布是他演繹情感的點點滴滴。以抽象呈現每件作品，沒有各自的名稱，而是以不同『數字』來表示，『數字』代表著該作品落筆的時間點。
After Mr. Xie Jun Yen graduated from National Institute of The Art (Taipei National University of Arts); he went to Italy, further studied in University of Southampton and Winchester School of Art in England. Later by chance he had a long sojourn in Spain for 27 years. During the period, he was full of creativity. The style of works are various, colorful and unlimited. Further he hosted solo exhibitions in Spain, Taiwan and North America frequently. A spring afternoon in 2019, I had an appointment with Mr. Xie Jun Yen at his painting studio for works photographing and short interview. Maybe it was a long time since I saw Mr. Xie last, I was looking forward to the appointment. When I walked into his studio, the colorful paintings came into view and light music floating in the air. The process of taking photographs was like wandering in his fantastic garden. Creativity comes from emotions in life; therefore he expresses every single emotions on the canvases.The series works are abstract. There is no separated name for each work, but there is different numbers for them. The numbers mean the time point of start painting.
